Anish Kanjilal : wins Utkarsha Samman 2024

Renowned poet, educator, and speaker Anish Kanjilal was recently honored with the prestigious UTKARSHA SAMMAN Achiever Award at Rabindra Sadan on October 21, 2024. This recognition is a testament to his invaluable contributions to Indian literature and education. The award ceremony and felicitation was chaired  by artists Rupa Dutta Chowdhury and Pranati Saha  and was presided by Ashis Basak , charter president  and chairperson  @ Rotary club @ lions club, Kolkata.

The event marked the press release  of five anthologies featuring Kanjilal's works as celebrated pieces.

He pursued his education at St. Mary’s School, Vidyasagar College, Calcutta University, and Indira Gandhi National University, eventually earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Communication and Programming.
